Hi there, I'm new to Square.
How can I change the charge amount before it goes through? I have created all the items on the dashboard, and they show on the ipad app.
I click on the item, but now I would like to edit the pricing. Is that possible?
In some occasions, the item has 3 variations already set, and I would like to change the amount for a specific costumer
I hope so, because once in a while, I give discounts to my costumers

Hey @TropicalSoul,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community!
If you're looking to give discounts to customers, your best bet is probably going to be to use the discounts function! Once you've set up your discounts you can add them to a transaction at Point of Sale.
An alternative to this may be set your items up as variably priced items. To do this you need to leave the price section blank when creating / editing an item. This will mean you need to enter a customer price each time you sell an item, so I'd recommend setting up discounts as probably the easiest way to go about it.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions 🙂
