How to delete old form submissions

Hi

Does anyone know how to delete old form submissions ? I currently have 4 contact forms running on different pages of my site for to order custom items. These are getting extremely full and when an order has been achieved from the custom quote I would prefer to be able to delete them which would also help to clear them upon a bit.

Is there anyway to delete old form submissions please 🙂

I just wanted to clarify before going any further, are you looking to remove the contact form themselves from pages on your site or the actual email sign-ups you have received?

No I wish to keep all the forms I have as its the only way to do pre orders for custom items. But when customers fill in the forms and submit them we get a copy of that submission in the (form submissions) section.

We then reply with a custom quote for an item with the specifics they filled in on the form. The order is then finished and complete after we produce the item for the customer. 

 

So their original form submission is still there with piles of other ones in the (form submission) section. But you can't seem to delete them. So the lists are just getting longer and longer even though the query is finished and order complete. 

I just though it would be better to be able to delete the old ones especially when they are going back months. 😀

I had a look and for some reason, it's not currently possible to delete form entries, I'm not too sure what the reasoning is there but I can imagine it would be a useful option to have. 

 

I'd suggest when you can, flag it as a feature request over on our Square Online Ideate board, that way our product team will get visibility on it and hopefully we'll be able to offer it in future! 

 

 

It's hard to say without looking at your account on the backend but if you are seeing duplicate customers' email addresses due to multiple form submissions in your directory (as they are linked), you can bulk edit your directory to remove any duplicates. I'll leave the steps here
