Hi thank you.
I run an alteration service where people come in drop items off then we alter them and tx them to collect. By finding customer name typing in a message &send.
we have became so busy customers are ringing Dailey to see if their items are ready. I would like to hit a button let customer know item is ready. Then if they ring we can look up customer tell them it’s ready without looking through our many rails of clothing. Do you think I can work something like this from what you have said. Thank you

Hey @Zigzags - can you elaborate a little on this?

I'm assuming you mean for online sales, but if you could clarify what sort of business you are and how your customers order (if they select a collection time etc.)

You can easily set everything up to let your online customers know when the items are ready to collect via email and SMS - but I don't think it send an 'in progress' update at any stage. Their first SMS will give them a link where they can follow the progress.

To enable this turn it on under "Communications" settings

Then in the fulfilment pick up settings for your location make sure you've got 'mark items as ready' selected

With both of these bits you can notify your customers by marking the order as ready 👍🏻
