I am having issues with Square App taking a long time to load on Android Tablet.
1. Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 (1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB Storage), takes 13 seconds to open Square Appointments or Square POS apps. (device & apps are updated, optimized, minimal apps running...)
2. Bought new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2.3GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB Storage) hoping for better performance, takes 9 seconds to open Square Appointments or Square POS apps. (device & apps are updated, optimized, minimal apps running...)
3. My 3 year old cell phone instantly opens Square Appointments or Square POS apps.
I want to continue using small tablet to manage Square Appointments and Payment processing (with Square Reader), use tablet to cast media to nearby TV, access to work email, and light web browser use.
Why does it take so long to load Square Apps even when Android Tablets are optimized with minimal apps running in background? Can Square Appointments and Square POS apps provide a Settings option to run on Startup, and continue running in background so that there is no delay when accessing the app?
