Required Sign-Up Information for Incorporated Associations

I am signing up on behalf of a friends of art gallery society - the society is incorporated. I have been asked for all sorts of information - AGM minutes, certificates of incorporation, name, address and date of birth of the society president, my drivers licence, address, etc, etc. This all seems invasive and unnecessary. Can anyone advise please? Thanks. Peter.

Please rest assured that all incorporated associations signing up for a Square account go through the same verification process. This is part of our obligation under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006, which requires us to collect and verify certain details about your business.
