Has anyone else been sold Socket S700 scanners by Square that were out of warranty as they sat in Squares warehouse too long? Did Square then tell you it is up to you to deal with Socket for replacements even the Square sold it to you.

Weโre sorry if youโve had any poor service or advice while trying to warranty your hardware.
While it is the case that all third-party hardware products sold by Square, are provided according to the warranty of the manufacturer. Iโve had a look at Sockets standard warranty terms, which indicate that products sold by authorised resellers will be covered under their standard warranty, for 1 year from the date of purchase.
If youโre unable to come to an agreement with Socket after providing your proof of purchase, please donโt hesitate to reach out to our support team for further advice. As we are an authorised reseller of Socket products, Iโm confident that our team will be able to escalate the matter to Socket on your behalf.
