I have submitted this question to Square directly but was told it will take 24-48 hours for a reply. In the mean time I thought I'd ask the question to the community. Who else is a mobile business who uses Square Appointments? I'm a one-person mobile service business and I visit a new location with each appointment. I read through the marketing material for the new Appointments pricing and there is no mention of what package is appropriate for a business like mine. If the cost is $35 per month per location, does this mean I am expected to pay $35 for each of the 40-50 locations I visit every month? That seems ridiculous and yet I can't find any information that says otherwise. I would think there would be information regarding those of us who choose "Customer's Location" when we create an appointment.
Surely there are other mobile service providers in this group. Have you been able to make any more sense of this than I have?

Thanks @lenjobakes . So I'm not 100% sure on this either, since I'm not a mobile business. But I'd be more than glad to brainstorm and draw more attention to this question at the very least @KElliott @StuffForRuff .
Under your Accounts & Settings > Account > Business > Locations, do you as a mobile business need to add a physical location there?
Since the pricing article doesn't state anything about appointment based locations, and seems to be more toward your business location, I would assume that as long as you only had one location listed in those settings then you would fall under the one business criteria.

Hi Dan,
Your post was helpful. I looked at my settings and I have one "location", which is my address - and then under business type it says "mobile". I would agree that based on what the pricing article states, my business would be considered to have only one "location".
Unfortunately I still haven't heard back from Square on this matter.

You're welcome. I'm pretty sure you should be set on that, but possibly @isabelle can get a confirmation from the appointments team on what is considered a location.

You, as the business owner, will only be charged for one location. You will always only be charged a Square Appointments subscription fee for each active location under Accounts & Settings > Account > Business > Locations in Dashboard.
TLDR; if you have 1 location under locations in the dashboard, you'll only be charged for one location.
