Diners Club Card is it still not accepted.

I tried contacting support to see if the Square Terminal is still not accepting Diners Club Cards with no real specific response.

Sent an Email and received a generic response also called support to be sent a link to a chat where an Ai responds to you with the same response.

So still after a specific response does the Terminal accept Diners Club Cards or is there something we can do to help with the transaction with the customer for the sale?

Causing problems at the point of sale is something we want to avoid and having a customer with a good experience is the best outcome.

To be completely honest, I'm not very familiar with Diners Club Cards myself. However, it looks like Diners Club Cards aren’t listed as an accepted card with Square.

I also visited the Diners Club International website and found that they no longer offer personal cards in Australia as of January 31 2024, and as of April 15 2024, they no longer offer business and corporate cards issued in Australia. I’m unsure whether this means existing Diner Club members will still be able to use them moving forward, or whether they’ll be phased out. Unfortunately, these cards won't be supported on your Square Terminal.
