If your website doesn't load for you, there are a few different reasons why that might be happening:
- If you are using a custom domain, make sure that the domain is pointed to Weebly correctly. Be sure to allow time for any DNS changes to fully propagate, as it can take 24 to 48 hours for that to happen.
- Check to see if any ad blocking, antivirus, or firewall software on your computer is not blocking your site or our IP range (199.34.228.*).
- You may also need to contact your internet service provider and make sure that they are not blocking our IP range as well.
- It may also be some other kind of internet issue between you and our servers. I have seen in the past where a hub in between us and you was having issues, so it ony affected a small subset of online services and sites.

Hello Adam,
It's been since a month, it could be longer because I stopped using weebly for about 2 years, it was being blocked by our school board. But now it's working so I just created my latest site and the first 2 days were fine, then it would be on and off. The odd thing is I never have problems at school, even though it used to be blocked there. I wonder if it's the time of day, and if after school too many students are trying to access the page at the same time. But my other sites weren't working either, and students wouldn't have been on them.
I'm currently in the Middle East, does that make a difference?
Thanks

I'm on my home computer and I am now having the same issue.
I think it all started when my Norton updated.

Can you try turning off Norton temporarily to see if that helps? If it does you probably just need to add your site to a list of safe sites for Norton.

Hello, my professor and I are having the same problem: the website we created for school won't load. We really need help since this is where the student will publish their final essays.
Can you please help us? I tried republishing and even changing the name of the site. We tried opening it on different browsers and different IP addresses and nothing works.

Sorry to hear that, @Ana3. Are you guys all using your school's network for internet access? It sounds like your IT department might be blocking Weebly.com subdomains.

Thanks for replying back. No we are not. I created the site at home in september. After that, we have modified it at school and at our homes. The last time we edit it was on november, in our campus. We changed the site's name, but it continued to work fine.
Any tips on how we can fix it?

Do you use Telmex as your ISP by chance? They are currently blocking our subdomains.

at the moment I am, because I'm abroad for the weekend. But the other site editor, my professor, is not. Our students are not using either. The school is in San Diego, CA so the ISP must be spectrum, cox, at&t, which are the most popular.
Any other suggestions why the wesite is not uploading?

Ok; just so I'm understanding everything correctly, both you and your professor are unable to load the site even though you're traveling and he's located in San Diego?

Cleared browser.
My ad/popup blocker is off for Weebly editing.
This is a problem I've reported on multiple occasions, the last one no more than a month ago. After researching it, yet again, I found new info that sort of outlines the frequent trouble I have in getting Weebly to work correctly for me.
Link to a related article of interest is here (for other Weebly users who are encountering same issue; apparently there are many of us: https://www.webnots.com/weebly-site-editor-issues/
Today, I've tried to edit one of my own sites (my publishing deadline is tomorrow), and tried to edit a client's site whose publishing deadline is also this week, and haven't even tried to get to yet another client's site on Weebly with a deadline of ASAP.
This is today's screen shot of the editor's dash....

Do you have any software outside of browser plugins that acts like a Firewall/Anti-virus blocker, @femmeflashpoint? Something like FortiNet, Bitdefender, Norton, etc?

Hi Adam,
No... now firewalls that would block Weebly. If I did, I would imagine they'd be blocking it all the time, yes? But, this is a random thing that's been happening for several years.
I was FINALLY able to complete at least one of my tasks on a client's site today but had to do it via Firefox, since Chrome and Edge wouldn't load the editor. It took hours for Firefox to let it load and eventually, it loaded and held long enough for me to get a blog post situated for the client.
Tomorrow, or later today, without making any changes at all to any of my browsers, Weebly can suddenly act right and load as it should. Again, Weebly is the ONLY site I have experienced this with and I'm not alone. I see in the forums and in doing online investigation as to what the cause of this is, that many others experience the same problems with Weebly.

Hi Adam, sorry for a typo...
In last reply I meant I have NO firewalls set to block Weebly and I don't use any of the products you listed. I use alternative software for virus and malware protection.

Weebly editor does this on mine pretty much every time there's a Windows update. I work from home, as an independent writer and webmaster. It used to be a once in a while thing, now it's happening every week, for at least a day, and always when there's been a Microsoft update.
This time, it's lasted for five days and I've not been able to get it to work more than a few moments on Firefox, and not at all on Chrome or Edge.

Have you been able to try on a different device? It sounds like it could be a setting on your computer causing this. Unfortunately, I'm not able to recreate the issue so I'm just going off a hunch. One thing I would suggest trying is clearing the cache from your internet router. To do this: unplug the device, wait 30 seconds, then plug back in. Also, I can't remember if you said this or not, but try using a private/incognito window when you edit to ensure a fresh, cache-free session each time.

I've tried from my laptop and mobile devices. The same thing trouble on all of them.
I've also been asked the same questions and offered the same solutions over and over again from Weebly. This has been an ongoing and escalating problem with Weebly that I've encountered for more than two years as a pro user. There are no settings to foul Weebly. It works great for several days and then it fails, on multiple browsers, that have had recent cash clearings, and also running incognito.

I'm really sorry. I know how frustrating it is to be offered the same suggestions but never find a solution. When you can get it to work in Firefox do you eventually run into an error or a blank page? Does the browser time out or log you out?
