Recovering lost/deleted page

Hi!

We've had this hidden history (Historia.html) page at our site www.deepintheforest.fi, but I recently noticed it has gone missing. Since the site has multiple people editing it, I don't know whether someone deleted it or what happened. Is it possible to recover the page?

Also, is it possible to backup the whole site manually from time to time, in case something like this happens in the future.

Best regards,

Timo Koskinen

Hi, @timkos. Welcome to the Community!

There was a deleted page with that name which I just restored to your site. Let me know if that wasn't the page you were looking for.

I am trying to restore my deleted page. It was called either www.melaniebarrett.net or www.melanie-barrett.net

I deleted it in 2011 or 2012 but I posted some pictures on there that I want back so I was hoping Weebly would be able to restore it for me.

Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out! You had two deleted sites titled melaniebarrett.net so I restored them both for you. Please use the dropdown in the top left corner of the main dashboard to switch between the sites in your account.

Hope that helps, and take care! 😊

Thanks, Bernadette! However, I went to melaniebarrett.net and it said "Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found." Do I need to host my Weebly site with a hosting site like HostGator? I'm trying to reopen the melaniebarrett.net Weebly site I used to have. It had pictures on it that I'm trying to retrieve.

It sounds like the domain may have expired. Did you have it registered through your Weebly account, or through a third party registrar?

If you log into the account, you can use the dropdown on the side of the dashboard to log into the site editor to view old content. You can then publish the site to a Weebly subdomain if you wish to make the site live again, and cannot re-register the domain name.
