A partner requires SSL for my site (even though my store has SSL). When I check the box in Settings it says "Error encountered enabling certificate". I bought my domain from Weebly itself - so I wouldn't know how to change the DNS.
The resolution: if you're site is older than a certain age, you might need to call tech support and they will have to force it to accept SSL (if you're domain is good).
