Parallax and floating buttons - Help if you can

Has anyone here ever experimented with the Parallax display option?

I'm curious if that affects the operation/implementation of clickable links...

Also, I wish to do a newspaper style layout, but unsure of accomplishing it.

Another thing I'd like to try is a scrolling page with names that the visitor could click on.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Have you checked out the App Center, @PENicholson? There are apps there that can do a lot of interesting things with a website.
