Deploying Vue in Production Mode

Hi @Adam  and @Bernadette

I hope you guys are well. In my quest to streamline my site and help it to get served more efficiently I came across this warning message this morning:

It seems that this might explain some of the Weebly render blocking resources that Page Speed Insights tells me about. From the info link they provide:

Is this something you could ask the dev team about please? Would be great to bring my site up from the red where the Speed Insights are concerned. And I'm sure a lot of other people would appreciate it too. Thanks very much for your assistance.

Michael.

I'll check with our dev team about that, @michaelm73. I've wondered about that before why we aren't using the production version on published sites. There may be an infrastructure reason for that which I'm not aware of, though.

Hi @Adam , I did a post the other day about the new theme I'm testing on my site copy getting rid of all my blog entries.... I didn't get any response so am just following up. Please can you help me get them back? The test site is reclaimdesigntest.weebly.com, the original is reclaimdesign.org (you can see the blog entries that should be present on that - it's over a year's worth!). Thanks very much for your help.

Hi @michaelm73 Unfortunately, there isn't a way to add the blog to the new site. I'm not sure of the exact reason, but blogs do not copy over when you make a copy of the site. Smiley Sad You will have to rebuild each post, or edit the original site. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience!

Hi Bernadette, thanks for getting back to me. Individually adding back in a year plus worth of posts isn't going to be a viable option. So.... can I please confirm that once I have made all the adjustments elsewhere to this theme on the test site, that if I then select the theme on my live site and apply the same changes that it will not delete all my blog posts on there? Many thanks.

Michael.

As long as your custom theme doesn't have changes in it that would break the display of a blog post you shouldn't have any trouble, @michaelm73. If you did, though, the content would still be intact so it would just be a matter of editing the theme again to include the correct code to display posts.

Thanks @Adam . I'm downloading an archive of the site just in case!
