Same problem. I have a customised contact form on the home page for customers to fill in info. I just did one and although all the info are entered I get that message about correcting highlighted cell.

Did you add any fields like an email field, then rename it to something else? Usually this happens when an email or phone number field is renamed to something where people wouldn't enter something in that format.

I believe you are correct Adam. When I am in the Build Section, and I click and drag Contact Form, I notice the "First Name" Button is categorized as Email whereas the "Last Name" and "Email" Button are categorized as Short Text Box. To correct this, I deleted the "First Name" Button and added the Short Text Box and labeled it as "First Name". I deleted the "Email" button (Short text box) and added the Email button which is categorized as "Email". Hope this helps.

Hi there, it looks as I'm having the same issue here. An uncompleted form leads to the error message, and after completing the form it's not possible to send the form. There's just no additional message and it looks like nothing is happening. Would you mind having a look at it? It's in German, but that shouldn't be the issue I guess...

On the address fields, is it possible to remove address line 2 and region? We don't need them.
Thanks a lot! Lukas

I am having the same problem with my form all of a sudden. I had a submission last night, so it broke sometime today. I had a clients contact me to let me know there was an issue. I tested it via mobile and on my laptop and get the same "Please correct the highlighted fields" error. I have tried autofill (which never works with weebly forms) and manually entering the info and still get this error. Nothing is highlighted to fix and if you do try to fix things you can't click the button again to submit. I tried editing the form to see if something was the problem, no luck. I deleted and recreated the form even, still no luck. I have used weebly for nearly 9 years and never had problems like this with my form, so I am extremely concerned and need a fix asap. Thank you in advance.
This is the link to my page that is having the issue - http://www.placentamom.com/contact-me.html

In order to get the form to work I had to remove all the required fields, however this is not a long term solution. Glad I found a band aid until I hear back from support.

I tested your form but didn't see your second post that you had disabled all the required fields. Could you try making just the name and email address required? I'll test again. It's possible it's just one of the fields causing the problem.

Hmm... I wonder if the Embed Code element above it is causing an issue. It has some HTML tags in it which can cause issues since these tags are already being used by the page:
Can you remove that element and re-publish, and see if that helps? I would copy the code and back it up in a text file before you delete the element, that way you can put it back if it doesn't help.

My contact form only works sometimes, with some browsers. This is beginning to create some intense upsets with customers. They use the form and are not able to reach me as the form will not send. Everyhting fills out and then the send will not owrk.
I deleted and reapplied the Name Field, first and last, then I did the same for the email field. Sometimes its email filed that turns yel;low and other times its the name field. Why is this so damned hard to fix? I use Chrome as my main we browser.
I've noticed quite a few people with this issue and no real resolve so far. Any ideas?

It looks like you're using Weebly through a third party host, @Immortalme, so I can't access your account to see what might be happening. Can you contact them so they can take a look? If something is broke they will have channels in which to get in contact with our team. Sorry about that!

Hi. I just published my weebly website 3 days ago (5/25/20) and I have the same contact form issue. My wife and I have both tried to submit a comment form as a test and we usually get the "Please correct the highlighted field" message. This is usualy the first name. A handful of times we were able to delete and retype the first name 4-5 times and eventually it went through. However, I have never receive these emails. When I set up the website, I deleted the map section of the contact page and uploaded a photo. I also had to bring over a text box to create a message box which was missing on the form for some reason (perhaps when I deleted the map box) Thee red "required field" the appeared above the message box. So perhaps this amy have something to do with tmy contact form submission issue I am having. I use a chrome browser and my website link is http://www.loploptravels.com. Thanks. - Jim

Sorry for the trouble, @JTH The issue is that the first name field is actually using an email field. The system is checking for an email address with an @ symbol. I believe this is a bug within the theme itself and not something that you did. I fixed your form for you, though. Please just publish for the updates to go live. Thanks so much!
