Can't edit site, session expires immediately!

Hi everyone!

I've been having a problem where for the past week or two whenever I go into the site editor to make some changes to my site, the moment I click out of a page element that I'm editing (be it text or image) I am swiftly redirected back to my dashboard and out of the editor. I notice that it says session expired at the end of the url for a moment. When I go back in, none of my changes to the page element have saved...

Anyone have any ideas? 8(

Sorry to hear that, @BritishMuffin. Do you have any browser add-ons, extensions, or plugins installed in FireFox?

It's possible Adblock or Ghostery could be doing it. Hmm... a simpler test would be to temporarily try a different browser like Chrome, though.

@Adam:  Actually, I have that issue with only chrome.

Just tried disabling them but it still says session expired and immediately boots me out again! Thanks for the idea though, wouldn't have any more would you?

Hmm... try logging out, clearing any cookies for both Weebly.com and Editmysite.com, then logging back in. I wonder if there's a funny session cookie causing it.

I am having same problem. I use my iPad to edit our Quilt Guild website. When I try to open app it shows the page with w on it and immediately pops off. I need help fixing the problem..

If you are using an iPad I recommend using our iOS app to edit your site; the editor is designed to work with desktop/laptop browsers, but not mobile browsers. That said, you might be able to fix that by logging out and logging back in so it clears any cookies.

Clearing those particular cookies absolutely worked, I can edit my site again!
