Hi,
Im rather new to Weebly and im doing some testing of the features and the limitations.
Im looking at creating an email captcha for PDF documents, it seems you can do a basic captcha by manipulating the newsletter form block, but I was hoping for something a bit more advanced.
The manuipluation of the newsletter block isnt sufficant as it only logs the entries on that form object and not on a shared target. I want to track a single PDF over multple pages with combined entries.
So:
A captcha newsletter block displays PDF A.
PDF A is present on page A and page B.
When I view the entries for PDF A I want to see all entries from every page that contains it.
What would be the most effective way to do this?
Should I look for an app within weebly, can this data share be done via the API or can it be done using the standard tools?
Thank you in advance and apologies if its rather technical.
Liam

The best way I can think of to do this is to export your form entries for both form A and form B, then combine those in a single spreadsheet so the data is all together. Before doing that you could add a column to each CSV which lists which form it can from.

Just so I'm on the same page as you, you're looking to track people who fill out the form, download a pdf from the form's thank you page, and then finally if they take another action after that?

Hi Adam,
Sorry it wasnt very clear.
In a nut shell im looking to change the forms so the "view entries" is based on the target link rather than the form.
So something like... users fills in email on form, (if valid) their sent to PDF and that email is captured (can currently be done using newsletter blocks). Then I would view all the captured emails for a PDF rather than the the entries on a that form.
So for example:
There is a newsletter block that links to "www.test.com/pdf.pdf" on page A and page B on weebly.
I want to "view entries" for "www.test.com/pdf.pdf" over page A and page B.
NOT like the current method where i would have to go to page A, make notes, and then the go to page B and go the same.
Or alternatively do you use unqiue resource identifiers I can use in the API to do it outside of weebly?
Hope that helps.
Best Regards,
Liam
