Add Google CAPTCHA to forms

Hi community, I can't seem to find the Google Captcha toggle in the email form editor anymore as some of my clients are receiving Spam emails. I know how to turn on Google Captcha in email forms but the Google Captcha option isn't there to turn it on.

I know how to turn it on by going to the editor, then form options and then the Google Captcha toggle should be there to give you the option to turn it on but it isn't.

Please could someone help me.

Regards,

Michael

This new link you posted is for a different set of directions. We're not able to offer support for third party embedded code, and I recommend you reach out to the code provider directly.

One thing to note; embedded code does not always work properly within the editor. You may need to add the code, publish the site, then check the live site to see it in action.

Adam, I find your answer surprising and incomprehensible:

IF you have implemented captcha on all sites why is that SO many people complain about spam?!

Luckily, I have not yet received any from my forms BUT I also do NOT have any captchas in mine!

Do you mean that you have implemented the new version of  INVISIBLE Google reCaptcha - what version?

I do not see it in any of my code. Could you please qualify your answer?

I find that your answers to questions - IF they even posted - either incomplete, skip steps or do not provide a solution that works. Do you even care that your users understand your instructions and are able to follow them? This is supposed to be SUPPORT, not disregard Smiley Sad

This is an older thread, but Adam made a comment a few posts below the one you are referring to.

Our engineers just added the toggle for this again - if you check your forms in the editor you should be able to disable the captcha again.

You can turn it on by logging into the editor and toggling the option on. You will have to save and republish the site for it to update on the live site.

Thank you, Bernadette, but this is the problem with this support site - to find the WORKING SOLUTION is like looking for a needle in a proverbial hay stack! One has to spend HOURS filtering through all the messages - most of them not even answered - and usually I give up and look for a proper solution somewhere else or ask directly one of the people who seems to have solved the puzzle by themselves! I am sure that many other people are in my position too.

BTW, search as I might I could NOT find a "new" solution you quoted. Would be at least nice if there were links in the answers. But thank you for quoting Smiley Happy But I tested this solution now and have other problems with it - see below.

1. On the issue of the Captcha itself, THE solution is VERY UNSATISFACTORY! This kind of Captch is HATED by all users - nobody wants to spend their valuable time clicking on stupid pictures! Google themselves LONG AGO STOPPED using and promoting it - they have THREE new versions already:

One requires to just select "I am not a robot" but two new ones are INVISIBLE embed that detects a bot without user doing anything and this is the one you SHOULD be using (and it is FREE to use!).

So why most of your solutions are so outdated?

2. The captch you are using is not even placed in the right location in the code - BEFORE the form validation! I just tried to submit an empty form that has mandatory fields and the captch, not validation mistakes come up!

I want to use this invisible option but the problem with your forms that they are very basic and very hard to customize! You hide implementation code so I cannot insert the code in the proper placement even when I want to. I have been trying for WEEKS now to find a solution for the button action customizer but cannot find it. If somebody can help me - PLEASE email me directly. Would be very grateful and maybe we could help Weebly to be more efficient with their code if they cannot do that by themselves.
