Viruses on Contact Forms
Picked upn infected contact form yesterday sent to a client site. Contauned the trojan virus, and only found by my own PC anti-virus software.
Email domain of client is independent so it neither stopped it or sent a message. My receipt via Google/Weenly mail also let it thru.
Wondered what protection there was on Weebly hosting to prevent this, as there doesn't seem to be any,
(Also annoyed that the requirement to add a telephone number on the form was circumvented - or just ignored by the sender - and the email was still valid.)
Is this a case for strengthening the Weebly anti-virus software on the host system.
Anyone else have this issue?
(p.s. I deleted the contact form from the client's dashboard.)

We scan all files uploaded to a site from the editor, though I don't know what we do with files attached to contact forms. It's probably a good idea to always scan everything you download to your computer anyway, since the rules used by different virus scanning software are sometimes different. They can also be updated at different times so it's possibel for one to catch something and another to not.

@Adam. Clarification. There was no attachment. Virus was contained in the form and would be activated by the receiver responding, or printing.
