Still can't adjust item quantity in invoices when using square app!!

Anybody else find it ridiculous that we STILL can't adjust item quantity on invoices when using the square app?? I spoke to support about this over a year ago. She was stunned to discover this idiotic oversight and promised to have their software team fix it immediately. Here we are a year later and there's still no way to change the item quantity in an invoice through the square app or square invoices app. This is getting ridiculous. The only way to make multiple item quantity on a line item is through the Square.com website, but only in desktop mode because when you try with a phone it just keeps going to the app!! 

 

As ridiculous as it sounds, the only way to change the item quantity in an invoice is to open a browser, force it to desktop mode, go to the square site and mess around zooming in and out to change the invoice.

Hi @ParentInspect , thanks for posting on the Seller Community.

 

I recreated this on my end - I created an invoice on the Dashboard and was able to successfully edit the quantity on the invoice, from both the POS and Invoices app. Can you confirm that you follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to More then Invoices (or straight to Invoices if using the Invoices app).
  2. Click on the invoice you wish to edit, then tap Edit on the top right.
  3. Scroll to Line Items and click on the item name.
  4. Update the quantity using the "-" or "+" icons, then Save.
  5. Click on Continue to review then Send Invoice to send the updated invoice.
