Square register : Square system : no access (facing this issue randomly)

Hi all,

I am based in Tokyo, having retail spice store and facing below issue from 10days and no support in Japan Square, even after submitting videos, photos and details of problem they are unable to solve.

Problem we are facing from the last 2 weeks days is as below.
Randomly the system got into no access (Square System) where the internet and network connection is connected (photos attached).

Due to this even if we use cash as payment, Square doesn't work and other payments also don't work as it keep showing processing and after some time show error.

When we have this issue, we can't see the transaction or inventory using the square register, but we can use our personal phone as normal.

This issue comes and goes randomly, meaning this issue resolved automatically and it starts working fine after a few minutes or sometimes a few hours.

On our personal phone we didn't face any of this problem and the phone square POS application is working perfectly fine, and when square registers have this issue we are using our phone at our store .

Also i noticed that when we are logged out of system, register screen doesn't show background image of store (which we could see earlier and still see on phone).
along with this, the printing receipt also got delay and it take 4 to 6seconds to print after print command is pressed.

saving images of issues for better understanding. please help.Login screen square register 20240802_101751.jpgMobile _20240802_101921_Square Point of Sale.jpg20240731_192643.jpg

Hi @SPICEROUTE 👋 thanks for flagging this.

I'm sorry to hear that this has been an ongoing issue.

I'd be happy to try and help here.

When you are seeing the 'Square Systems 'No access'  error - are you logged in as the account owner or an employee?

Have you tried to factory reset the Register yet? If not, please try to do so now. The steps to Reset Your Register are at the bottom of this article. You will need to reconnect the WiFi and any accessories after doing so. Before doing so, please upload the Diagnostic Report - the steps are also in the article.

Let me know how the factory reset goes, I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
