No photo when I share link from square photo to Facebook or Instagram

If I take a product photo with the square photo suite I save to square ect and my square item list but if I share the link when asked if I want to I say share

to Facebook or Instagram all I get is a square box on FB which does create a link but no picture in FB or when you click the link ( which works) and go to to square there is the details but no image?

any help appreciated

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your Square Photo Studio links.

I tried to replicate what you described by: 

1. Taking a photo on the app > Save

2. Choose Style

3. Sell now > Create ink 

4. Share

I shared the link on Whatsapp, Facebook and Safari and the image appeared for all of them, here's my example. 

Could you please post your link here and if possible some screenshots so I can take a closer look at this for you?

Yep certainly here is a new post I tried direct from square photo suite

this is how it looks on my F/B page

if you click it goes to square but also no picture there?

I see what you mean @Wood1. 

When you take the photo and then add it to your Square Dashboard as an item - where do you get that link from? 

Do you share it directly from the app using the 'share' button: 

Or do you copy the link directly from the item within your item library on the dashboard? 

Apologies for all the questions, just gather as much info as I can as I've been unable to replicate the issue so far, thanks! 

Also if you haven't already - would you mind deleting the app and trying again with another item and let me know if the image appears on the link?

Thanks for the steps @Wood1, these are the same steps I've taken so this is a bit curious. 

I might need to have our Square Online team take a look but before I do I'll need some more information. 

Can you delete and reinstall the app and create this item again, let me know if the issue persists. 

Also, has this happened with all of your external links or just for this particular item?

it happens with every item but I have only tried sharing to Facebook

I appreciate your taking the trouble

follow this walkthrough of how I do it and what I expected 

1. sq studio app open

2 take a test product photo

3 choose save

4 choose a style and click next

Choose  add to square ( as I want to create a item to sell and share with link) 

5 it will say item created and a green tick

6 don’t click done …… CLICK CREATE A SELL LINK

At this point before you do anything else you can see what you will share and the price and a link which is how it will look when you have shared it!

7 then share ———- Facebook ( or wherever you want to share it) 

you get no photo once you share it??

does not look as it did just after step 6 

it has no details or image
