I may have missed a thread on this but 'swipe a gift card' option has disappeared for me on the returns screen on our square terminal so we are only able to refund to debit/credit card. Is this something I can switch back on?

Hey @101Vtg, I just wanted to pop in here and confirm that this was an error on our side which our engineers have now resolved.
You should have option to refund to physical Gift Card again.

Hey @101Vtg, apology that we missed your post! From what you describe, it sounds like it can be a bug actually. As a first step, it's worth running through the general troubleshooting steps outlined in this article.
If you have run through all the steps and the Terminal is up to date, the best course of action is to contact our Support Team directly. They will be able to get more device and account specific details and help escalate the issue further as well.
