make a team member inactive temporarily

I want to make a team member Inactive  for a time. This a Shared Point of Sale. It seems as if you can only make Team members Active and allocate Permissions. I do not want to alter Permissions or Permission Sets.

 

I cannot see how this can be done. Help please.......

When using the Square Point of Sale app, you can only create a team member and edit their details and permissions.

 

To deactivate them, you will need to log in to your online Square Dashboard: 

  1. Visit Team > Team Members then select the team member you wish to deactivate.
  2. Click the three-dotted actions menu on the top left and click Deactivate

Once they are deactivated, their profile will be visible from the inactive team member list.

 

You'll then be able to reactivate them at any time. Feel free to consult our Support Centre article for the how-to steps.
