Is there currently an outage affecting Square card readers in the Texas location?

We have noticed that several of our stores in Texas are experiencing issues pairing Square card readers with our devices. When attempting to pair, the devices display a "Devices cannot be accessed" message and a timeout error.

There aren't any reported issues like this, that I'm aware of. It sounds like you're trying to pair some Contactless + Chip Readers to your devices, is that correct?

If so, I suggest starting out with the troubleshooting steps for the Contactless + Chip Reader listed here. If this doesn't improve things, please reach out to Support directly by logging into your Square account and heading here for further assistance.
