Is it possible to group customers by what they purchased?

Hi, I would like to create target groups of customers based on recent purchases. Is there a way to create groups based on what customers ordered?

i.e. today 10 customers purchased a specific type of salad. I would like to group them and send them an email to ask a feedback about that salad. Can I do it?

This would be useful also in order to offer specific offers.
