Square terminal not staying connected to hotspot

Over the past few months my square terminal has started having problems with staying connected to my iphone hotspot.  It use to work no problem, then out of the blue it just started to not stay connected.  So I would switch to my husbands iphone and it does the same thing.

It will stay connected to my employees samsung though and we are both have the same provider.

I recently received a new square terminal and it is still doing the same thing.

Please any advice on how to fix this.
