Archived items still showing up on my cash register terminal - and they are selectable!

I have archived the vast bulk of our Items as our register use is more limited these days.  However, all those archived Items are still available and selectable (and being selected) which is not what the system documentation says should happen.  What setting am I missing?

I want to take a closer look at this for you. Have you been able to complete any of our Square Terminal Troubleshooting? I specifically recommend Steps 3 through 6. Let me know how that goes.
