Can I use the team app to have my team clock in and out from the ipad?

Hi All, I want multiple employees to be able to clock in and out using the Square Teams app using their pin. However, it only allows "me" to clock in and out as I am the one signed into the Square Teams app using my login and password.
How can I accomplish this without employees using an email and password to log in? Thank you!

Typically, each of your team members will add the square team app to their phones and login with the email associated with their payroll record. 

This allows them to see their timecards, W2s, request time off, etc.

They can clock in and out directly on the app on their phone.

When you created their account in the system, they also get a four-digit code and that is used to clock in and out on the POS and to ring up customers.

Thank you! Is this scenario possible:

I don’t want my employees to be able to clock in and out on their phones, as potentially one could clock in on time if they were running late. I want them to only clock in and out on an iPad at the shop, so they have to physically be here.

Ideally, I would want the iPad to have the Square Teams app logged into the main shop account, and each employee could clock in and out using their pin code.

I don’t want to use the POS for this, as not every employee checks out customers.

That is a perfect scenario. That's exactly what we do and the settings will allow you to turn on the ability to clock in and out on the iPad. 

Go to settings on your device and then go to team management and then toggle on the ability to track team member time on the iPad. 

If you log in with device codes on your iPad you may need to manage this in your dashboard under the device settings.

Hi I don't see "Settings" on the Square Teams app. Which account should be logged into the Square Teams app to allow multiple employees to clock in an out by just using their PIN, without having to log out of the Square Teams app? Thank you.

The square teams app is designed to be on the mobile device for each user. If you don't want them clocking in and out of there you can disable it on the Square teams up. 

Then on the POS on the iPad, you would go to settings and team management to enable it on the iPad for clock in and out

I apologize. I had to look it up to remember where it was at. 

Below is a screenshot but you need to do it in your dashboard and not in the teams app. Once you're in your dashboard you can go to team and then you can go to settings and then clock in and out settings and then you'll see it there. Here's a picture.

The Team app won't work for all your team to log in as it is intended to be a single user's app. However, the instructions that @BofBArtStudio is giving you can be found on the Square Point of Sale app.
