Square Register Stuck at Logo even after factory reset
I bought a Square Register from a reseller they said was working. When I boot it it's stuck at the Square Logo. I tried:
"You can also Factory Reset your Square Register by holding down the power button for 10 seconds until you see a black screen with a count-down timer."
This does not work. No troubleshooting steps from your site/forums help. PLEASE don't point me at them. If a factory reset doesn't work, none of those other options will work.
Please advise, I am opening my coffee shop in 15 days and I need to get this going so I can start using this product and your service. This is critical. Thank you.

@litewait Welcome to the community. Just double checking on a few things. When you did the factory reset, when the register shutdown did you wait 2-3 minutes before turning it on? I don’t know what difference it would make, but Square recommends waiting 2-3 minutes before you turn it on.
Also, you may want to check the cables.
Ensure that the customer display is properly connected. If it’s docked, make sure it’s seated evenly with no gaps.
If undocked, verify that the USB cable is securely connected to both the customer display and the main Register unit. If the secondary screen is improperly connected, it may cause boot issues.
A faulty power supply could make the register get stuck on the logo during boot up.
Worse case:
The person that owned it before you shut down the register before a software or firmware update finished.
Corrupt file could case it.
Internal memory is failing.
Hopefully this will fix your issue.
