Is there a way to have an "open ended" amount for sales?
Just getting started with square and have never used before.
We do an auction as part of our fundraiser and obviously don't have a "price" until the bidding is done. How can I add in there auction item and amount?

Hello @ASA1979 thanks for your question. When you are adding an "inventory" item, you could add your auction item, including a number or SKU if you like, and even include a pic if you're selling/posting online. Just don't add any amount to the price, and when you go to checkout a person, bring this item up in the POS or app, and then you should be able to enter the final selling price. Also note...when you create your item, there is an option to apply your state's sales tax....so if that applies to your situation, you'll want to toggle that option on or off. You can learn more about setting tax rates in this post. Thanks for your question!
