Has anyone else had difficulty with Square registers not turning on?
We are a small, very busy restaurant. We recently switched to Square, one month ago. All had gone pretty smoothly until last night. One of the POS terminals went black, briefly began to re-boot with a blue screen, and then went altogether dark. Spent several hours this morning troubleshooting some very basic common sense roots to the problem. It will NOT turn on. Shortly after the other POS went dark, not turning off, good power supply, triple checked, unplugged for an extended period, plugged both back in, printers fine & functional. Both registers are just dead. This is devastating for our post-pandemic recovery. Had to close early, only option is to replace all hardware. NOT HAPPY< NIGHTMARE
