square pulled money from a customers account but square said the card was declined.

I billed a customer using square and square said the card was declined. Square did pull money from the customers account but never deposited it into my square account. All I get is automated recordings when I try to call the help line.

As I see this is your first post welcome to the sellers forum.

 

I am sorry that this has happened.  Were you able to see that the Transaction was in your Transactions list?

You are saying Square never Deposited the money in your Square Account...Do you have a Square Bank or Savings account for the money to go into, or are you refering to the daily Balance for daily sales before they do Transfer.

 

If I make a Sale today, My balance that Square will deposit grows by the amount of the sale.  At the end of the day Square makes a Deposit to my linked account in the amount of all my sales for the day - Squares fees and - a loan or other fees you agreed to pay Square.  Instant Transfer for example.  

 

If you follow this ink and sign into your Square Dashboard you should see the Transaction in question if you select the date of the transaction in the upper left.  Transacations link : https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/transactions 

 

If it is there you should be able to see the receipt click on it and then in Blue there should be "Receipt " and 4 characters.  Call Square support see what is happening or maybe it will be deposited tomorrow.  Squares Support number is below in my signature line.
