Unable to Accept FSA after change to MCC

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: MCC Code

 

Support will not get back to me. But as of the 1st of the year, I can no longer process Flex spending cards. I've done nothing different and can't even figure out how I would change that. The insurance companies are the ones who told me my MCC code had changed the first of the year.

Make sure you call support and let them know what you are trying to do.

 

We had to do this last year and we were able to get it updated with a call to support.

Thank you Cheryl. So far I "provided" all the info they asked for. Twice. To two different support people via email, and am hopeful the second person will get back to me to say they've  fixed it. I will try calling support if it still doesn't get changed.

I guess the moral of the story is just call support. They fixed the issue in 30 seconds. I think the emails must go through AI.

I do think its ironic that they give you a choice of espanol or english then put someone on that barely speaks English.
