Non-taxed items ask for tax to be added in cart.
We are a small, non-profit business that charges tax on merchandise sold. However, we have some things that tax is not charged on. In Item Library the non-taxed items have been designated as such. But once that item is in the cart, below it says "Add tax" instead of "Non-taxable". This could be an issue if someone gets flustered and thinks they need to add tax.
I would like to be able to change "add tax" to "nontaxable". I appreciate any help that will resolve this. After 20 minutes on chat with no help, I thought I might be better off asking my question here. Thank you.

@TBAG you may want to make sure the no tax items are not included on the list of the items that are taxed in your account
& settings where you set up the sales tax on items. You can specify which taxes go to which item. I am thinking the system might be looking for a tax that you have set up, but not assigned to the item. I think the non-taxable flag overrides this. I would try adding the tax to the item and then setting the non-taxable slider on the item and see if that changes the behavior.
