Is there a tax only option in pos?
I have the taxes set up to stay organized if I sell an item to a customer but is there a way to pay only the tax on an item if I take it from my own inventory for personal use? I would not be purchasing the item as it was already purchased wholesale by me but I'd be responsible to pay sales tax on it at that time.

@LióniSpa I commend you on wanting to make sure you follow all the rules and pay any tax owed for personal use. There isn't a straightforward way, but in theory you could buy yourself a gift card and use a 100% discount on the gift card. Then ring up the item as usual and use the gift card to pay for it. Sales tax will be charged and in your transaction log like normal I believe. I am not a tax expert, but you will pay a very small fee to square, but tax is charged on the actual sale and the sale will look no different. Obviously since you gave away the gift card, and used it to pay for the sale, you won't realize any profit on the item, but would still owe the tax.
