Woocommerce for square
I want to know what is going to happen when I sync WooCommerce with my square account. Will I have a chance to decide which items I want to use on my website or will everything sync over? I'm afraid I'll end up with a mess. I have lots of inventory, but I only want to use the website for specific groups of customers. Not sure WooCommerce is the way to go. I will be offering clothing items with size and color variations.

Hello @SandraN
Thank you for reaching out!
You can find more information about the integration between WooCommerce and Square here.
The inventory syncs between your Square account and WooCommerce site when you integrate the two, which means all the items currently in your library will be imported to WooCommerce.
As WooCommerce features are managed directly by them, I am not entirely sure if they offer an option to hide certain items or sync only a portion of your library. I would recommend reaching out to their support system to confirm.
Also, I would recommend taking a look at the Square Online services.
Creating an Online Store using Square is quick and easy, plus you can keep track of your Online and In-person sales in one place.
Square Online does offer a feature that allows you to only showcase certain items online.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thank you ✨

I have looked at square online, and I am not opposed to using it for a specific application that I have in mind. I just can't seem to figure it out. Here's what I would like to do. We run apparel flyers for sports teams fall, winter and spring. I want to have a separate page for each flyer. Each flyer has 6-10 items in multiple sizes and colors. Would that work in square online?

Absolutely.
You can have multiple pages in your Square Online Store and upload images.
Once you have your flyer on the page, you can add a section with the items included in that particular flyer so your customers can shop the items right from that page.
Square Online partners with 99designs so you can hire an expert designer who can help you build your site according to your needs. Learn more here.
