Why is my customer's Name saving their email instead of their name?

The email is saved and their name is under recipient name, but their actual Name is their email address. This used to work correctly. This is for a new online customer.

Hey @ragenewengland .   I'm not certain I can help, but can you provide some more information that might help others identify, such as;

  • Which Square app are you seeing the issue?
  • What portion of the app?
  • Is it affecting all customers, or just this one customer?
  • Is the issue visible in the Customer Directory?
  • Did you reboot?  (I know, I know...sounds basic but you never know)

When a new customer orders from our online site it save the customer in the customer directory, but their email is being saved in the name field instead of their actual name, it used to save their actual name there.
