When I click on a photo linked to a product page, I get a 404 error

I created a new "stories" page yesterday. In the photo gallery at the bottom of the page I linked several photos to product pages. Today, when I click on the photo I get a 404 error code. The product page is there and accessible if I navigate to it from the "shop all" tab, but not by clicking on the photo on the story page.

HI, hopefully this will help.

You can review Stories information on the Square Help page here

https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/7085-create-stories-in-square-online-store

Website> Edit Site> Home> scroll down to Story Pages> Stories (Stories Overview)> select your Story> click image to link> Add Link> Link to:> Item Page> (wait for all your inventory to load) Search Item> select your item from drop down>

Thanks Terri, that's how I linked the picture to it's item page, But when I click on the picture in the story page, it gives me the 404 error. It's not a feature I use often as I usually post the pictures before listing it for sale.

It's still giving me the 404 error. I see the difference in the two links, and I even went in and tried changing the link to be an external page and pasted the actual link without "stories" and it still is putting the "stories" in the link and giving the 404 error. I think I'm going to have to step away from this for a little bit before I go even more insane than I already am.

Thanks for trying to help! It's entirely possible (probable) that it's user error.

Got it! I changed it to an external link, pasted the actual item page and waited longer, and now it works! Must be I just didn't wait long enough after making the change.

Thank you!
