SITE BUSINESS DAY
THIS IS SUPER FRUSTRATING BUT WHY DOES MY SITE SAY I AM NOT ACCEPTING ORDERS AND MY NEXT DAY TO ACCEPT IS JANUARY 19TH FROM 9-5...HOW DO I FIX THIS ?

We're currently examining your Square Online site (https://www.selenaludesigns.com/), and it seems that the 'Not Accepting Orders' messaging is no longer visible.
Could you kindly confirm whether you are still encountering this issue on your end? Upon selecting the pickup option on your site, we observed a message in the checkout indicating that you will coordinate pickup times upon order completion.

this is still happening. when you choose any of the fulfillment options it says i am not accepting orders until January 19th. this is an inconvenience to my business and customers.

We have been having the same problem the last two days, with the site still saying "Store not taking orders right now" no matter how many times I toggled the online store to "accept online orders". I would go into the online settings to double check that the hours were correct (they were) and then hit save. Both days, this fixed the problem after doing this twice. But I still dont understand why or how. I dont like it because after toggling the store to accept, I don't usually check the website to see if it is working, I just assume it is. I had customers come in asking why we werent taking online orders. Very very frustrating.

It is happening again for the third day in a row. I have changed no settings prior to this. I toggle the "Accept Online Orders" button under "Checkout", as usual. But when I check my online menu, it says "Our store is not currently accepting orders."
I refresh. I toggle and toggle again. Nothing.
Why would it start doing this on its own, with no changes made on my end? I am assuming it is because of some change made by Square.

And then, like that, it miraculously opens up, randomly. I am just missing the consistency of even two weeks ago.

Is there a reason why you are toggling your Accept Orders option off/on? It looks like your pickup settings are set up so that orders can be placed outside of business hours, but would not be ready until normal business hours. Or, was that causing confusion in the past?
As far as the toggle goes, it should update in real time. You can always re-publish the website from within the editor if you feel the order availability is not updating right away.

I dont want people to be able to order food when we are not open. Not everyone pays attention to what they are doing, and we would get orders from people at all hours of the night, expecting to be able to pick them up right then. also, there are days when we are shorthanded when I prefer the service off, or only on periodically, so we use the toggle switch every day.
And i know it should update in real time. it has worked for three years now for us. but the past three days, it hasn't actually 'opened' the online store for us. even though it states on the toggle page that we are accepting orders.

There are two places you can toggle on/off; the Square Online dashboard > Overview page, and Square Online dashboard > Checkout page. When you need to toggle again, can you try the page you usually do not use so we can try to narrow down where the issue is stemming from?
