Hello, I am new to Square and trying to figure out how my customers can start ordering online off of my website? I am not sure what I am doing wrong. When I go to my website to select the item it says payment not available like they literally can not check out. How do I fix this?

The one thing we can't do thru the Community is look at your Square Account settings - only Tech or Customer Support can do that. So we have to guess sometimes -
Login to your Square Account
Click or Select "Online"
Next Click or Select "Settings"
Click or Select "Checkout"
Accept Online Orders should be "Enabled"
Both Apple Pay and Google Pay are optional but, a good idea to be enabled.
The other payment methods are up to you.
Under Advanced Settings - Check out Mode - "Add to Cart"
Also Default Fulfillment Method - Shipping (make sure you have a Shipping Profile setup) or Pickup or Local Delivery

Adding to @JK_Fiber_Art advice above, I would also make sure that your site items are correctly set. To do so, log in to your Square Online Overview page > Items > Site Items > Click on an item and check the following:
price
- stock
- visibility
- fulfillment method
