Online Store - How to Sort Items by Newest but also highlight featured items

Hi fellow Squaries! 

I am looking for solutions for the following need: 

We want our website to show our catalog defaulting from Newest to Oldest, so new arrivals are the first items that customers see. However, we would also like a way to "lock" or "feature" certain older items that have also restocked so they appear at the top of the list too. We DO NOT want to have to delete and recreate these items to make this happen, as it skews sales reports. Any ideas?? Maybe a future enhancement option if there isn't a way to accomplish this currently?

Currently, the options to Sort and Filter your items are as follows:

• Popularity
• Newest
• Price (High-Low)
• Price (Low-High)
• Alphabetical (A-Z)
• Alphabetical (Z-A)

The ability to lock or feature older items alongside one of the above would be considered a feature request at this time, which you can submit to our Ideate board here. Our Product Team keeps an eye on this forum as they are constantly improving our products based on feedback like this!
