I would like customers to be able to unselect modifiers on my order site

If I have a modifier that is to add whipped cream topping and that is the only option on that modifier, on our order site, if you select the option to add whipped cream but then change your mind, there is no way to unselect it. 

Yes, I could add a modifier to say No whipped cream. I have done this and I can't tell you how many times workers add whipped cream when No whipped cream is in front of them. I think it's because they see it so they do it.

I want to make it so it is not on a ticket or KDS if they don't want it. So it would not say No whipped cream topping at all on the ticket.

In short, I want to be able to let customers unselect modifiers but it does not seem possible.
