Hi folks! I have set up a pop-up to collect emails but I'm not seeing explicit information about how to tell those subscribers apart from other collected emails. My understanding is that subscribers are added to the Customer Directory. Are we to rely on the Square system notifications (set up within the email collection pop-up settings) to provide some sort of information to tell those subscribers apart from others?
Details:
I checked the Customer Directory. I see a filter option for "Email Subscribers". When I select that it shows all customers who have ever purchased something and supplied their email during the transaction.
When I select Email Subscribers, the filter is called " Marketing subscriber: Email"
and these are the categories of information that appear: Name; Email; Phone; Last Visited; and "+"
In the email collection Pop-up settings, I can set the system to immediately notify me when someone has signed up/opted in.
Am I correct in thinking that it is then up to me to manually sort people who have explicitly opted in into a group a separate group? I want to make sure I keep them separate from all the other customers.

We unfortunately don't have an automatic filter that would give you only the customers who signed up using the pop-up at this time.
But we did find a solution. Might not be ideal, since it does require a bit more time and effort, but works.
You would need to go to your Square Online overview page, navigate to Communications > Pop-Ups > Scroll down to Created Pop-Ups and open the email collection one. Once there, you can copy all the email addresses and add them manually to a new list in your Directory.
