Emailing Customers that bought online only

I built a website for my press on nails that I am promoting. I want to sign up for the email marketing. However I do not want the emails going to my in salon clients. I only want to send marketing emails to the customers that purchase from my website. Is this possible? I did make customer groups however when I go to look at the marketing area for email it looks like it will send the emails to everyone.

Thanks

Chloe

Hi.

So it looks like you already created a smart group? I just created a custom smart group whose creation source was an Online Store.

Once you have this group(s),
- Go to marketing.
- Start a campaign.
- Choose email.
- Choose a type: For example, I chose "Announce New Products or Services". This puts together a sort of template for you.
- Select "Design" in the upper right corner.
- Design your media.
- Once done, click "Select Audience": on this page you will be able to choose your audience.
- Choose "Custom": This will populate automatically made smart groups and any custom ones you created. For example I see "lapsed customers", "Cards on File", or "Regulars", as well as the custom group I made called "Online Only".
- Check to make sure everything is ok, now click "Review Campaign", take a look at everything, and it if it is all good you can schedule it for a later time or send it right away.

I hope this helps. If it did please drop a KUDOS and mark as best answer. If you need more assistance, let me know.

Thanks for the response, however I don't have that option or any way to add it. I attached a screenshotScreenshot 2025-02-13 at 9.47.45 PM.png

Keep going. Please follow my instructions.

For the step that you sent a screenshot, you are only selecting a template, this would be step 4.

selecting who gets the email comes after you've designed it

if you need more assistance let me know, maybe we can set up a remote screen sharing session.
