Better Customization for Order Confirmation Email Template

Is there a way that I can remove some items that are listed on the Order Confirmation emails?

We do not use Delivery or Pickup so the emails the customers receive have a very large space on them since these categories are not used. Is there a way to remove these sections from the templates so the space does not appear?  Thanks

Hey there @INFOUWGC, and welcome to the Square Seller Community!

Your question about email templates, is one I may be able to help you with. The Email templates show all the possibilities that one Email could include.. However when the Email is sent, it is designed and structured to only display relevant information.

Here is an example of a shipping receipt received by Email:

As you can see, the information displayed is only the information that is relevant to the specific customer's order.

Hope this could help with any confusion, if this helps please mark it as best answer to help others in the future!

Hello  Thank you.  I do understand that only the information relevant is populated on to the email confirmation, --

however, the email has huge blanks spaces where the populated information would be if I used it --

rather than just omitting the spaces for the things not populated.  It ends up being a 2-page email printed with only information that would take up 1/2 a page.

Welcome back to The Seller Community@INFOUWGC!

Can you clarify a few things...

Is this the Email that has been sent after a real purchase or is it the test Email?

Have you added any sections to the email without remembering to fill/delete them and therefore they could be filling up the space?

Thanks for troubleshooting with me!

Hi Again Matt,

It is the actual email sent to a customer after a real transaction.  I have not added any sections.

The only customization I did was add our logo and social media information.

Here is a snapshot of an actual email.  You can see the space where the delivery / pick up information
would land if that info was generated.  It is almost as though it is holding a place for it.

It takes up 2 1/2 pages of paper if I print the email.
