Solved: AED as currency

I have a paid membership on Weebly, I am based in United Arab Emirates, I need to change the currency on the website to reflect AED and AED is not on the list?

On Squareup it shows UAE and gives me the emirate (Sharjah) as an address..

I connected my Weebly account to Stripe and stripe shows AED but it doesnt reflect on Weebly...

Please help i built the whole website and now I am stuck on this!

To answer your question, Weebly (powered by Square) currently limits supported currencies to the countries where Square itself is available. Even though Stripe supports AED, Weebly’s checkout system doesn’t allow you to override its default currency list. This is why you see AED in Stripe but not on your Weebly site. Square currently doesn’t process payments in the UAE, so that’s why AED isn’t showing as an option.

You can still build and publish your site on Weebly in the UAE, but you won’t be able to accept payments in AED through Square/Weebly. Since your account is connected to Stripe, Stripe can process AED, but Weebly itself doesn’t display or transact in it. That mismatch is what’s blocking you.

I'm sorry that this has been so frustrating for you. But, I hope I have provided some clarity as to why this isn't working.
