Hi Square Community,
I’m encountering an issue with the "View Order Details" button in the confirmation emails sent to my customers. When they click this button, it takes them to a site that displays a warning message saying, "This site could be risky."
I’m looking for advice on:
- Fixing this issue so the button directs to a secure page without the warning.
- Alternatively, removing the button from the email entirely if fixing it isn’t possible.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Katie,
Thank you for your response and willingness to assist. I wanted to let you know that the issue has just been resolved. It turns out that both my internet provider and my customer's provider have an Advanced Security feature enabled. Once we turned it off, the problem was resolved.
I appreciate your time and support on this matter.

Sorry to hear about this issue, @dvf! I'd be happy to look into this further with you.
When you can, please reply with screenshots of:
- The order confirmation email
- The warning message that your customers are seeing when redirected to your website from this button
Please be sure to redact any personal information (like full names and email addresses) before uploading any images.
Thanks! I’ll keep an eye out for your reply. 🙂
