How do I create a coupon that applies to more than just one item?

I have created a coupon code that is supposed to take 20% off to certain categories, however the code only works for the first item in that category.

I've read the square pages on creating discounts/coupons, and  I cannot figure out how to get this discount to apply to every item in the category.

Example (these are the same shirt):

Shirt $20 $16 (20% off)

Shirt $20 (0% off)

What I'm trying to do
Shirt $20 $16 (20% off)

Shirt $20 $16 (20% off)

Hey @rccc_merch,

Thanks for joining us in the Community.

When you create a coupon, it will apply a discount to each line item included in the transaction. At the bottom of the receipt, you will see the total amount discounted for the entire ticket.

To see an example, you can check your past transactions on your Square Dashboard where you had more than one item.

If you have an instance where the discount wasn’t applied to each item, please provide a screenshot of the transaction details without sharing any personal information.
