Private Event Scheduling - Pop-Up Event?

I'm hosting a private event at my wellness studio and am offering mini-sessions to the guests that attend. The sessions are complimentary and are of shorter duration than normal sessions. I want to have guests secure a time slot ahead of time - initially I thought of doing it through Calendly but I'm wondering if there is a way to utilize Square Appointments so I can capture all of their contact information. Would it make sense to add the mini-sessions to my service library and add another location (e.g., like as a pop-up / mobile location)? Is there a way to only have the 'mini-session service library' viewable by the guests for this event? Open to all suggestions!

Thank you!

Hello @marissa_revival 👋

This is an interesting use case!

You can create a separate location and assign the service to just that one location. As long as you are subscribed to Appointments Premium, you'll then be able to create a mini-booking site for the new location.

Although you can't "hide" this mini-site from others, without the link to it, they're not that easy to find.

Now if you have a full Square Online website with a booking page or booking button, the new location for the mini-sessions will be visible there, and other people will be able to book.

Unfortunately, online booking for an isolated service is not currently a feature we offer.

There is one other option that comes to mind.

If you are selling this event online, depending on the item type, you might be able to create variations and assign a stock of 1 to each, each variation being each mini-session slot you have available. This way, whenever your client purchases their ticket, they'll be able to select their preferred time slot, and each time slot will only be available once.

Hopefully one of those solutions works for you!

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you

Thank you for the help! I'm going to try creating a separate location and see how that plays out. Do you know how I would create / set-up the mini booking site?

I might or might not be panicking a little, @marissa_revival

On my Appointments page, if I go to Online Booking > Channels and scroll down, I see an option to manage my booking mini-site.

But when I went to look for an article with the steps to create one, I couldn't find one. So now I'm thinking the option might not be available anymore. I can still manage mine because it is already there.

If you don't see the option to create a mini-site, let me know. I'll be happy to investigate further and confirm if this is still a feature we offer.

Sorry for the confusion!
