If I turn Square Assistant off.

If I turn square assistant off, will my clients still receive all of their appointment reminders?  And how will they be able to confirm their appointments?

The reason I'm asking is because when people send me basic questions (I subscribe to square text messaging services) Sometimes the assistant interferes and I don't see the basic question that my client is asking. 

So if I turn the assistant off, I just want to make sure my clients will recieve their reminders.  And can still confirm the appointments.

Hi @Nailsbymissyc , turning off Square Assistant doesn't stop reminders and confirmations. It only turns off the [automated] texts. We ran into a similar problem previously and turned it off ever since. 

@BarkingIronOTP asked a similar question a few days ago as well. Here was their question/experience with Square Assistant.

I think the confusion may be coming from the wording for the Square Assistant subtext in Appointments > Settings > Communications. 

"Square Assistant allows your clients to confirm, cancel or change their appointments by replying directly to Square SMS messages."

Maybe reorder wording to

"Square Assistant allows your clients to reply directly to Square SMS messages to confirm, cancel, or change their appointments." 

or adding additional information saying that reminders and confirmations are still sent whether Square Assistant is on or off.

How do I kill the AI Assistant. The automated messages it’s sent out or suggested are hot garbage and I want the feature gone. How do I do this and keep the text/email reminders for appointments?
